A ghillie, also known as a yowie suit, is a type of clothing
designed to camouflage the person wearing by resembling heavy
underbrush. It is a cloth or net garment covered in loose strips of
twine or cloth, or grass mats.
Some ghillie suits even have vines and branches tie into them for added
realism. These suits are used mainly by snipers and hunters. The
ghillie suit was originally created by Scottish gamekeepers, to prevent
poaching on the landowner's lands, control predators and to keep an eye
on the the health of the landowner's wildlife.
